Ebrima Jammeh

Ebrima Jammeh is a graduate of The University of The Gambia with a BSc first class in Biology in
2005, after having bagged a National diploma and Higher National Diploma in Education from The
Gambia College in 1996.
Istarted my Banking career with Access Bank in 2007 as an Executive Trainee, where I rose through
the ranksto Senior Banking officer (SBO) with the corporate Banking Department. In 2012, I joined
Mega Bank former Bank PHB as Senior Banking Officer at the Corporate Bank Department. In 2014,
I was transferred to the Risk department as head of the department briefly before I left the Bank
to join Ecobank in 2015. I served as Head of Public Sector at Ecobank from 2015 to 2021. In 2021,
I joined Nafa Financial Services briefly as Head of Business Development, before rejoining Ecobank
at the same portfolio in 2022. In 2024, I was appointed as Managing Director of Cashup Gambia,
a Fintech company I started from initiation, a position I held before joining FirstBank Gambia
Limited in April 2025.
